With four bedrooms and two full bathrooms, our authentic, stack log cabin, has space for your whole crew.
Our kitchen has all the tools you’ll need and a spacious dining table so you never need to leave the cabin. But there’s just so much to do in the Smokies! A short drive will take you to Dollywood, The Island at Pigeon Forge, Downtown Gatlinburg or the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Whether you’re looking for ziplines and hiking or dinner shows and shopping you’re sure to find lots to do nearby.
Once you return from your adventures, enjoy trading tales around the fire pit or relaxing in the hot tub.
Or head to the game room for some friendly competition.

Benefits Of Booking Direct
There are many benefits to booking directly, either on this website or by calling me. A big one is that you’ll get the best price. I offer discounts here that I don’t if you book through the big online travel agencies (OTA) and those agencies add on their own fees, too. You also get the best pick of dates because I release availability to my direct booking guests first.
But the real reason to direct book is to get the best service. When you book directly with me, the host/guest relationship is between you and me without an OTA getting in the way. That means, if something comes up, I won’t just cancel you like an OTA might. I’ll call you and do my best to work it out. Did you know that most OTA “customer service” is automated? When you call, you get to wade through voice menus and their internet chat service is mostly AI bots! If you get an automated email or message from me, I’ll tell you that’s what it is but you also have my personal cell phone number and I do answer it! If I’m not available, my Property Manager, Mark is! Real guest service by real human beings is the real reason to book direct at Firefly Bluff!

Frequently Asked Questions
Full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in. If booked fewer than 30 days before check-in, full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in. After that, 50% refund up to 7 days before check-in. No refund after that. Please purchase travel insurance. I cannot make exceptions to our cancellation policy, even for emergencies. Thank you for understanding.
We do not allow pets.
If any evidence of a pet(s)/animals(s) is found in the cabin or on the premises, you will be asked to vacate immediately, will forfeit your entire rental payment and deposit, and will be billed for any costs associated with the required cleaning and repairs above and beyond the amount of Rental deposit. If evidence of pet stay is found after your stay, we will deduct $100 per pet, per night charge, from the Deposit, up to the full Deposit amount.
Service animals are always welcome. Emotional support animals (ESAs) are not recognized ats service animals in the state of Tennessee and are not allowed.
We provide free satellite wifi.
The mountains offer many wonderful things. Fast, reliable wifi is not one of them. If the wifi seems to have gone out, call Mark or Christina for assistance.
We provide DISH services for your entertainment. Please do not attempt to stream.
We are on the list for StarLink and hope to add it to our cabin in 2023.
We love to welcome entire families, children included. Please be aware that the cabin is not child proof and there are stairs. You are welcome to bring or rent a baby gate. Please reach out to us with any questions.
There is no simple answer to this question as people’s needs are so diverse. The entryways are wide and there is hard flooring throughout. However, there are steps up to the main level and stairs down to the lower level. The main level has a traditional shower/tub. A shower chair can be provided. The lower level has a low barrier shower. Both have a grab bar but neither currently have a handheld showerhead.

We are not “next to” anything. There are other cabins around, but not much else.
But, you can get to just about anything with a 20-30 minute drive, including Dollywood, The Island, Downtown Gatlinburg, and the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Firefly Bluff is among other vacation cabins, each with about an acre of its own space, so the area is not crowded, but you are not in the wilderness, either.
